NiSi Cinema C5 Matte Box Cinema Kit
The Cinema C5 Matte Box Cinema Kit from NiSi is a lightweight, clamp-on matte box system that supports 4 x 4" and 4 x 5.6" filters. Crafted for cinema-style production applications, the C5 works in concert with NiSi's cinema line of filters and 4 x 4" rotating circular filters. Built from plastic, aluminum, and carbon fiber, the matte box has a carbon fiber top flag for better control over glare from overhead light sources.
The filter holder features a top slot for 4x4 filters and a side slot for 4 x 5.65" filters, with the included filter trays supporting 2 and 4mm thick filters. The matte box facilitates having the filters as close as possible to the lens to ensure that vignetting does not occur. This kit includes a filter pouch for storing filters and additional accessories, as well as a set of adapter rings for using the matte box on lenses with 67, 72, 77, and 82mm front threads. Also included with this kit are a True Color VND 1-5 Stops filter, a True Color Rotating PL filter, an FS ND16 4 x 5.65" filter, and a 1/8 Black Mist 4 x 5.65" filter.
